We are searching for a person that can take up a role as a software developer in one of our agile teams. You will be part of a team responsible for developing software for embedded systems focusing on features related to Bosch connectivity solution for automotive.

In this position, you will be expected to:

  • Develop software in C++ for embedded Linux operating systems.
  • Features and functionality in focus are related to communication protocols used for system to system intercommunication. MQTT, OMA-DM to mention some.
  • You will be part of a team responsible for our connectivity solution for automotive developing new features as well as supporting customer project.
  • Collaborating with engineering teams across various Bosch divisions.
  • Participate in every stage of the software development from requirement analysis, design and implementation to module and system verification.

What distinguishes you

  • Master in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar.
  • Relevant experience from software development on embedded Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent C++ programming skills. Knowledge from other programming language is a merit.
  • Experience from developing software focusing on test focused development supported by continuous Integration.
  • Experience in translating requirements into appropriate system, capturing design and specification of software through well documented code.
  • Working in international teams, distributed all over the world.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English, German will be a benefit).
